Valentina Pellizzoni was born in Cantù and holds a degree in Film History from the University of Bologna, along with a Master’s in Film and Television Production. After working as an assistant director on a soap opera, she realized that if she had to choose a kind of fiction, she much preferred the kind found in books. For years, she has managed a bookstore and has been organizing and teaching training courses on children's literature. She nurtures a passion for writing and contributes articles on literature and books to specialized blogs. She has three children, four cats, and four chickens that are always trying to escape.
