La scuola degli animali

The animals’ school is very similar to the children’s one. From Monday to Friday classes start at 9 am and finish at 12 pm, with a 10-minute break to play and have a snack: cinnamon, clover, and cherries. Unlike the children’s school, however, there’s a special subject called “The Future” that requires to be studied with a calm mind and closed eyes.

Written by María José Ferrada and illustrated by Issa Watanabe, the seven splendid short stories of this book tell the readers about an ideal school, where students can aim high and cultivate ideas to make the world a better place.
