Federica Buglioni was born and lives in Milan. After working in translation, interpreting and editing for many years, she started to cook with children and to investigate their relation with food. Since 2006, she carries on cooking workshops to improve children's food education, as well as teachers training courses. She is founder of Bambini in Cucina association, a member of Milanoperibambini editorial board, and of Foodinsider (an observatory for school canteens) scientific committee. Naturalisti in cucina is her ninth book.
