Depero and the house of the wizard

For all his life, Fortunato Depero played with Art, as joyful and focused as a child. His hands made paintings, rugs, toys, puppets, advertisement, furniture, garments, objects, books, manifestos, costumes and even a house - his own! – the so called House of the wizard. The latest title of our collection Piccola Pinacoteca Portatile, written by Marta Sironi and illustrated by Lucia Pescador, an Italian artist of international renown, pays homage to his works. It is a journey through images and words in search of Futurism, that wants to invite children to draw, write, create and play, which was made with the contribution of MART and Casa d’Arte Futurista di Fortunato Depero in Rovereto.
