Felice, the cat

Gatto Felice lives in the city, in a very comfortable flat. On a summer night he decides to go visiting his family around the world. There are tigers, snow leopards, lynx, puma, panthers, and of course lions. In 24 hours he touches the most beautiful landscapes: deserts, jungles, ice fields, savannah… And he’s offered herrings, meat skewers, steaks, prawn toasts…

It snowed last night

Traveling on the fish

Die Fischreise was written and illustrated by Tom Seidmann Freud, and published in 1923. It tells the dream of a child: riding on a goldfish horseback, he gets to an ideal, unknown city where children, its only inhabitants, welcome him warmly. The place is all harmony, beauty and fraternity: children passionately study and work and days go happily by. Written on the eve of tragic historical events, this book stands for a moving desire for a better future and a better world.

Trees

Being the third book of PiNO collection about Science and Nature, L'albero is a poetic and scientific exploration of the life of plants through images inspired on traditional botanical illustration, graphic representations, verses, a little dictionary and an observation lab. Different and complementary instruments to initiate children to the secrets of trees: leaves, fruits, roots, seeds, trunks, bark… The luminous texts by Silvana D’Angelo are illustrated by Sara Maragotto and Caterina Gabelli from Studio Fludd.

Playing. The art of entertainment
